Die aus Israel stammende Flötistin Sagit begann ihre musikalische Ausbildung an der Thelma Yellin Schule der Künste in Tel- Aviv. Sie studierte an der Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden mit Professor Rety und seit 2021 bei Sabine Kittel.
Sagit hat bereits bei vielen Orchestern in Israel und Deutschland mitgespielt (Philharmonik Orchester Israel,Wind Quintett, Raanana Symphonic Orchestra, Revolution Orchestra, Galil Orchestra, Meitar Ensemble in Israel) und ist seit November aktiv bei der Banda Comunale. Sie ist trittmit verschienden Ensembles auf und hat Auftritte wie z.B für die Staatsoperette Dresden (Semperoper) . Sagit unterrichtet derzeit an zwei Musikschulen in Pieschen und in Pirna.
Biography
Sagit Zur was born in 1999, She has started her flute studies at 2011 at Kfar-Saba conservatory with Marta mc’cave Dayan. 2016-2019 has been studying at Prof. Yossi Arnheim’s class. Graduated Thelma Yellin High-School of arts at 2017, and so played at Symphony school orchestra as a leading player and as a soloist. She has played in the national woodwind orchestra of Israel, and in the Israel Young Philharmonic Orchestra until 2019. Sagit has participated in a woodwind quintet as part of the ‘David Goldman’ program of excellent students of the Jerusalem Music Center and took part in the “Tedarim” Project of Meitar Ensemble- playing Contemporary Chamber music as “Pierrot Lunaire” (Schoenberg). She won the ‘Or Yehuda’ competition (2017) as a soloist and in the chamber music- with the quintet ensemble. She participated in the 1st Hans Zender Akademie in Meersburg, of Ensemble Modern 2021. Played with the pjb Orchester – Junge Philharmonie Orchester in Berlin (2021). Sagit played as a soloist Bach’s second suite with the ensemble of “Polyphony Foundation” at a tour in Belgium (2018) as part of the Grand music festival of Ghent Flanders. Sagit is receiving the ‘Ronen Foundation Scholarship’ for young artists of Classical Music 2017- 2020, she is a recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation’s excellent scholarship in Flute for the years 2019-2022, and Ad Infinitum Foundation for the year 2020-2021. Sagit served in the Israel Army as an excellent musician 2017-2019 and studying now Bachelor at Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden. She was in the Class of Stephane Rety, and from WS 2021 in the class of Sabine Kittel. Sagit took part in the summer course Eduardo Ocon 2014 (Spain), the BIMF summer course 2016 (England), the master classes at La Côte Flute Festival (Swiss 2018) and participated in the Piano&Flute 33 Forum in Diekirch, (Luxembourg 2021), and with Davide Formisano in Neaples. She has participated in master classes with the artists Emmanuel Pahud, Philippe Bernold, Hansgeorg schmeiser (Austria), Sebastian Jacot, Susan Milan (England), Mario Caroli (Italy), Jocelyn Aubrun (Swiss), Ory Shneor (Vienne), Noam Buchman, Eyal Ein-habar, Moshe Apshtein, Sharon Batzali, Ransom Wilson (USA) Vincent Lucas (France), and Prof. Haim Taub. Sagit was playing as freelance in some orchestras in Israel as Ramat-Gan Symphonic Orchestra, Raanana Symphonic Orchestra, the Revolution Orchestra and Gallil Orchestra as an orchestra member and as a soloist. Played several times with Tel-Aviv Wind Quintet, and so Played for two years 2017-2019 at the Israel National Theater “Habima.” At the time, Sagit is teaching in two music schools in Dresden and Pirna, playing since 2021 with Banda Comunale, and and playing as Orchestra assistant at the Semperoper Dresden
